More Information about the Product:
1. This is intended to use with Sizzix Big Shot, Big Shot Plus, Big Shot Pro, or Big Kick. Will not work with other manual cutting device not similar to those machines. The woodblock will break or damage like if you use those leather press or hammer.
2. The Steel blades are sharp and covered with black rubber foam. The rubber foam acts as protection for the steel blades and cushion. Please do not remove the rubber foam.
4. Some Cutting Dies have holes for convenience. The holes can be removed and can be put back again but you would need strong wood glue if you want to keep it secured. Holes will get clogged so make sure to clean the holes with a pin provided after each roll into the cutting machine.
5.Sandwich the Die with 2 cutting pads, place the rubber foam face up.
6.Cleaning Tips:
•.The holes will get easily clogged, so make sure to clean with a pin after each roll to the machine.
•If using fibrous materials like cowhide, you may use packing tape. Apply the tape on the fibrous side of the leather sheet. This will help not get too much mess or lint in between the rubber foam and steel blades.
*Tassels, Fringes, or similar dies that the blades are too close to each other will be a tough one to clean. Please use materials that are appropriate for these types of dies or use the Tape trick. Also, these types of dies, the rubber foam will cave in after numerous use but will not affect the function of the die. Do not remove the rubber foam. The rubber foam will protect the steel blades and your fingers not get cut.
7. You may use aluminum foil to re-sharpen the steel blades, try this 3 times.
