page vintage revised shooting script, dated July 12, 1983, with one revision date,
July 27, 1983, used in the production of the classic crime drama television
series, Magnum P.I., entitled ‘Smaller Than Life’ written by J. Rickley Dumm
and directed by Alan J. Levi, which aired on October 13, 1983 (Season 4,
Episode 3). The show ran for eight seasons, from 1980 – 1988, for a total of
156 episodes and starred Tom Selleck as Thomas Sullivan Magnum, IV, a
charismatic private investigator living in Hawaii, and co-starred John
Hillerman, Roger E. Mosley, and Larry Manetti. Bradbound. Fine in printed
studio wrappers. Tom Selleck was nominated many times for Outstanding Lead
Actor in a Drama Series for his work in the series and won the award in 1984.
Selleck’s co-star, John Hillerman was also nominated for many awards for his
work on the show and eventually won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor
in a Drama Series in 1987.
