reviewing this particular Mess kit.
This is the same type of Mess kit used by the Yugoslav Peoples Army (JNA) at the end of WWII and more recent wars.
This Complete Used Military Surplus
mess kit consists of a canteen, cup, knife, fork, spoon, an aluminum 4 ¼” x 3 ¼” x 4 ¾” pot with handle, and a plastic bowl.
This Used European Military surplus Mess  kit conveniently fits into one another and is stored in a canvas pouch ( pouch has wide belt oop on back).
This complete Used European Military surplus Mess kit

and when together roughly measure measures 7 ½” x 3” x 6”.
The Knife, fork and spoon are made of extremely quality stainless steel and when you feel it, it is very solid .
The Knife also has a
conveniently
built in sharp can opener , both the spoon and fork fit inside the
knife’s
grip for easy storage into a interior holder inside the Mess Kits storage pouch.
