The “White Papers” were the classic pioneers of television documentaries dating back to the Fifties involving all the ‘Golden Age’ media greats like David Brinkley, Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite. This one, a biographical memorial tribute to the fairly recently assassinated President John F. Kennedy has Chet Huntley as narrator, with the great Henry Fonda reading the quotation segments.
It first aired on Sunday, May 29, 1966.
It was produced, directed, as well as written by, Al Wasserman.
